It has a dustproof and waterproof structure that satisfies our tests in accordance with JIS C 0920-2003 protection class IP52 in the condition of the new product. However, gas detection is not guaranteed. IP52 equivalent means that the device has a structure that operates normally at startup after a dust test is conducted with the inside of the test item reduced to a maximum of 2 kPa (equivalent to IP5X), and that the device has a structure that is not adversely affected by water droplets falling vertically when tilted within 15° on either side of the vertical (equivalent to IPX2).
